Wow, this book is a page turner, I devoured this book in one sitting because nothing else was important. I needed to know what happened to Jase and Lucas from the moment the first book ended, and I couldn’t wait to find out.
And while Jase and Lucas’ sexual chemistry is off the charts, this book is not just all spice and no content, but a lot of content and very little spice with the two of them trying to figure out their own truths and how to be vulnerable with one another, and somehow they keep reading each other wrong, and thus misunderstandings are frequent until they finally get it together and get their HEA.
I’m seeing a theme in this series and that’s closeted gay guys and they have to work through their own internal homophobia to get their happy endings with their The One. And also there are a variety of bad guys in the book preventing them from their happy ending. Having the really bad guy makes this series very intense for me, it’s not a happy-go-lucky book for me.

Also now that I’ve finished book 2 of the series, I need book 3 like yesterday!!
