This book started strong.
So for me, the last 1/3 of the story became a chore because there was so much to work out, Alka coming clean to the school about his relationship with Ruby, Oscar figuring out what to do with his content creating now that he's thinking about kids. Ruby dealing with that abusive ex.
Spice... was 2. There's a scene where they all get together which is creative thus the higher than 1.5 rating, but overall this book did not feel that spicy to me, as they took it a bit slow to get to know each other, like Alka and Ruby was not hooking up, they were in it to get to know each other, so it was not spicy for most of the part while they got to know each other.
As always reading the author's
book requires like a murder map of who is connected to who, I always seem to get lost in the cast, and honestly I just let it go and don't try to figure out who is connected to who or who has a story or not.
All in all, I enjoyed reading this book for what it was, but I'm not sure I'd read it again, hence the middle rating.
